Bilateral gigantomastia of pregnancy : about a case at the university hospital center for mother and child lagune and review of the literature

Abstract

The authors report a case of bilateral gestational gigantomastia recorded in a university hospital in Cotonou. The pregnancy was carried out to fetal maturity allowing delivery by caesarean section. Exaggerated and disabling breast hypertrophy regressed significantly at the third month after delivery  under drug treatment and educational advice.
